About the Cell

The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) of A.P.S. Degree College has been constituted in accordance with UGC guidelines to ensure equity and equal treatment for all students and staff, particularly those belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Minorities, Women, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD).

The Cell works to foster a respectful, inclusive, and supportive campus environment. It addresses complaints related to discrimination, provides counseling, and organizes sensitization programs to promote equality.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure equal treatment and non-discrimination of SC/ST/OBC/Minorities/Women/PwD in the college.
  • Provide counseling and guidance to students and staff from marginalized sections.
  • Assist in availing scholarships, fellowships, and government schemes.
  • Address grievances related to inequality, discrimination, or denial of opportunities.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and awareness programs to promote inclusivity.
